The May 2025 release brings updates across Payara Platform Community 6.2025.5, Payara Platform Enterprise 6.26.0 and 5.75.0. These focus on bug fixes and component upgrades. Let's have a closer look at what you can find in this release.

- Master Password Mobility: Added capability to move master password file to a user defined location for Payara Server Enterprise 5.75.0, 6.26.0 and Community 6.2025.5.
Bug Fixes
- Custom Error Page Configuration: Fixed custom error page configs not working for Payara Micro across all editions
- X509Certificate Fix: Resolved jakarta.servlet.request.X509Certificate request attribute yielding NULL on version 6 of Payara Platform Community and Enterprise
Component Upgrades
- ASM Library: Upgraded from 9.7.1 to 9.8 across all editions
- Exousia: Updated from 2.1.2 to 2.1.3 for version 6 of Payara Platform Community and Enterprise

Important Notice: Payara Platform Enterprise 4 End of Life
Payara Platform Enterprise 4 has reached End of Life. Unless customers have secured Lifetime Support, they will continue to have access to existing binaries but won't receive new releases or updates.
End of Life Policy Details:
- Support: Non-Lifetime support users cannot raise tickets against version 4 since end of March 2024
- Binaries Access: Customers can continue accessing existing binaries in Nexus, but no new updates will be provided
- New Patches: Only Lifetime Support customers receive new patches, accessible via dedicated Nexus repositories.
- Documentation: Payara Server 4 documentation remains available in the community repository
- Lifetime Support: Customers with Lifetime Support retain access to critical security updates and on-demand bug fixes.
If you are still using Payara Platform Enterprise 4, upgrade to the latest versions to maintain support, receive security updates and take advantage of new features and improvements.
